Portland Harpist Kate Petak

Award winning harpist Kate Petak has been perfoming for audiences since the age of thirteen. She has received critical acclaim for performances in orchestras, chamber ensembles, and as a soloist in the United States,  England, and Japan. Areas of special interest include modern music, opera, and small ensembles. She also enjoys collaborating with composers on their harp compositions, and has premiered pieces written especially for her in Boston and Indiana. She holds a master's degree in harp performance, and is currently interested in collaborating with other musicians, performing in orchestras, and sharing her music with the public.
